Anonymous asked: who were you in high school? the perky blonde Cheerleader? validictorian? goth chick? geek?

As it so happens, as a teenager, I was a geek, valedictorian, *and* a cheerleader.

Nobody is just one thing, and a lot of times, our most defining traits aren’t the most visible ones, especially in a high school world.  I was the same random, weird, geeky, sweet, fill-in-the-blank person I am now when I was in high school, but I think it’s a safe bet that in high school, a lot more people (including many of my high school friends) knew things ABOUT me than actually knew me.

And that’s Reason #455 that college was a UTOPIA OF AWESOMESAUCE.
